Christian Louboutin Opens a New Store in Hong Kong

Inspired by his holiday house in Portugal – a place very dear to him – the store is designed as a romantic parenthesis out of the time, an intimate home where women feel like they are in the salon of a friend who loves them and knows them well. Combining a bright airy space and summery colour associations, the boutique has been imagined as a cosy nook, floored with the House iconic red carpet.

An arche outlined in a summery orange ceramic invites to enter in the patio connecting men and women’s spaces. The ceiling is ornated with a typical beach house white and red pattern while the center niche is lined with a colorful flowered wallpaper.

A holiday house wouldn’t complete without a place to lie down and relax, that’s where the men’s corner stands in. Alcoves are decorated with diamond ceramics; terracotta niches and white wood meshes create the perfect balance between the company’s visual vocabulary and the designer’s own decorative inspirations. A central sofa lined with tiger-patterned fabric brings a shot of color contrasting with the terracotta natural shades all around.
