London-based Fine Jewellery Brand Annoushka Opening Its First Kowloon Boutique at Ocean Centre

Inspired by the art-deco aesthetic used in the two existing boutiques in Central, the brand-new boutique opening in September is located at Ocean Centre, which continues to adopt the romantic, warm and feminine furnishing.

To echo with the nature-inspired designs and the beloved garden owned by Annoushka herself, a floating garden décor curated by Hong Kong’s best loved florist Blooms & Blossoms is featured in the boutique. The suspending floral centerpiece is composed of marguerite inspired by quintessential British countryside in summer. The centrepiece will be displayed from 16th -19th of September at Ocean Centre’s boutique.

“After such a tough two years, it is very exciting to be opening our first shop on Kowloon side in Ocean Centre. It is five years since we first opened in Hong Kong, one of my favourite places in the world, and a place that I called home for three fabulous years.”  

In 1990, the British jewellery designer Annoushka Ducas created a jewellery piece as her own engagement ring, and 31 years later she still adores it and wears it every day. Epiphany hits her that designs for jewellery pieces doesn’t necessarily need to follow the traditional way, they should be wearable, versatile but yet enduring – something that can change and evolve over time like relationships do.

Love & Commitment is the first bridal collection of Annoushka and the new design duly encapsulates the evolution of enduring love, which can be worn seamlessly alongside with your own existing jewellery wardrobe in countless combinations, even long after your wedding day. Inspired by the blooming flowers of Annoushka’s garden, this collection is designed with precious, coloured stones, golds and diamonds to mimic the brightness and liveliness of flowers.

Engagement Rings – Range from Simple Solitaries to Ring Jackets

Engagement rings in Love & Commitment collection vary from simple solitaires and delicate three stone designs, to bolder five stone rings with single and triple floral styles. Each design is made with conflict-free, GIA certified diamonds, responsibly sourced coloured gemstones crafted in 18ct white and yellow or bi-colour gold – all with a lifetime guarantee.

Known for her love of coloured stones, Annoushka has also designed four coloured stone engagement rings, each with its own intrinsic meaning and using some of her favourite stones. Morganite, believed to be attuned to the heart, represents promise, while tourmaline is said to open the heart and bring peace; rubellite brings luck and prosperity and tanzanite is said to resemble trust and sincerity.

The diamond ring jacket available in 18ct yellow or white gold transforms the simpler solitaire and triple stone designs by sliding snugly around them, while the half jacket option can be worn as a wedding band or added as a milestone gift in years to come.

Wedding Rings that could Stack Up, Interchange and Work Together

Annoushka has designed a range of engagement rings, eternity rings and stacking rings, which could all be worn alone or layered with the wedding band to create the wearer’s one of the kind combinations. Made from recycled 18ct yellow and white gold, these are Annoushka’s favourites that will definitely inspire you.

Annoushka’s designs have a small but significant detail known only to the wearer; some of the wedding bands are set with a ruby on the inside reflecting the ancient belief that a single vein runs from your heart to the fourth finger on your left hand.
