SAKImotoBakery is a premium bread specialty store originating from Osaka, Japan. The first ever SAKImoto Bakery in Hong Kong is opening in Harbour City. The Hong Kong store imitates the unique style of SAKImoto, with its cement and wooden theme shop design. It will bring an unprece-dented unique dining experience which will allow Hong Kong customers to indulge the original flavour of Shokupan without flying to Japan. The equipment, ingredients and production process which will all strictly follow the Japanese operation guidelines. The chef from the Japanese headquarter also comes to Hong Kong to ensure Shokupan’s authenticity.
SAKImoto Bakery Premium Shokupan Specialty Shop (HongKong) not only brings you the two famous Japanese classic flavours “Gokubi NATURAL Shokupan” and “Gokunama MILKBUTTER Shokupan”, it will also have limited daily special flavours and seasonal flavours from time to time. The store will provide 15 flavours of premium artisanal handcrafted jam delivered directly from Japan for customers to purchase.
Masamitsu Sakimoto, the founder of SAKImoto Bakery, wanted to create a healthy bread, without using eggs and milk, so that his daughter who has allergies can enjoy. After 2 years of product development, a vision in mind to create exquisite taste and texture, bringing out the natural sweetness and gentle fragrance of wheat. With the intention to incorporate ideas behind western confectionery, which is the company’s original business, Masamitsu devoted a vast amount of time to develop a new bread culture. Gokubi NATURAL Shokupan

Made without eggs and milk, and using only specially selected North American wheat. A commitment is made to bring high quality Shokupan to your breakfast table. Using the water roux method, the moisture is retained in the bread, making it extra soft and fluffy. Gokunama MILK BUTTER Shokupan

Made without eggs with 18 hours low-temperature fermentation. Using the same unique blend of high quality wheat as Gokubi NATURAL Shokupan, and made with specially selected milk and fresh cream from Hokkaido, combined with butter and honey, its full-bodied deli- ciousness is locked from within. Enjoy its richness with layers of natural sweetness com- bined with its soft, chewy, and slightly moist texture. It is so delicious that you won’t stop after the first bite.

We highly recommend to have it with any flavour of the jewel jam. Enjoy it on the day after purchase, if you don’t want to add anything, you can simply enjoy its richness with layers of natural sweetness combined with its soft, chewy, and slightly moist texture.

The Shokupan Jam Set will be served on a wooden tray. Customers can choose whether they would like their toasted Shokupan to be served with either jams or butter. The
Shokupan comes with a 9-grid mark, allowing customers to put different flavours of jam in each grid. Giving every mouthful an exquisite and unique taste.
A choice of 3 types of jam specially developed by “SAKImoto Bakery”. They are served on the small white spoons with rich and silky Hokkaido butter or French butter, whether you are having Shokupan on its own, or with butter and jam spread, both are extremely deli- cious.
