To encourage up and coming musicians to develop their talents and provide them with a ground to share and bring together ideas, Harbour City launched "Music in the City" in 2001. It serves as a performance platform for musicians and music lovers but most important of all, makes available to those who are enthusiastic towards showcasing their musical talents a place to fulfill their dreams.

"Music in the City" offers a spectrum of sounds, styles and harmonies from talented bands, singers and singer-songwriters who perform live on stage at Harbour City. Musicians like Phoebus Chan, Denis Ng, Peco Chui, Kay Tse, Pong Nan and Green Coffee play regularly for us and are very popular with our shoppers. Apart from these musicians, we are pleased to invite interested parties to join us and have fun at the same time.

With "Music in the City", it is hoped that Hong Kong's music culture can be promoted and potential musicians, through this function, are able to further develop their careers in this field like Pong Nan, Peco Chui and Denis Ng. Throughout the years, "Music in the City" has been providing a relaxing atmosphere and bringing entertainment to our shoppers in Harbour City.
