After a seven-year wait, Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 is set to release in Hong Kong, with sneak previews beginning 18 June 2026!
Following the citywide success of “Our Toy Stories @ Harbour City” —a carnival held in 2019 themed around Toy Story 4 that delighted fans and visitors across Hong Kong—this summer, Harbour City once again presents the latest “Toy Story” themed experiences to everyone! From 19 June to 31 August 2026, Harbour City will be transformed into a grand “Toy Story 5” celebration— “FOREVER TOYS @ Harbour City” —inviting fans across the city to come together and witness the ultimate assemblies of Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and a host of both new and old beloved friends!
As time marches on, playtime evolves. The toys are back in Toy Story 5, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same? Sneak previews begin on 18 June and the movie will open on 25 June. A group of beloved classic toys step in to save one another in this new era, teaming up with several brand-new characters to embark on an unprecedented grand adventure like never before!
With “FOREVER TOYS” as its theme, Harbour City will roll out five experience areas in the first phase, inviting families and fans of all ages to take part firsthand in a playful showdown between toys and technology:
Taking place at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, the entrance features over 2-meter-tall giant sculptures of Woody, Jessie and Bullseye —a must-visit photo spot for fans. After passing through a tunnel inspired by the movie’s “Lilypad” tablet, visitors will arrive at four game zones, where they can join both new and beloved classic toys in a series of exciting challenges, experiencing the thrilling clash between traditional toys and the tech world.
The city’s one and only official Toy Story 5 pop-up store, “The Forever Toy House”, will make a grand debut at the Ocean Terminal Main Concourse! The store will feature over 30 popular international and local brands, offering more than 800 thoughtfully designed themed items. From collectible figures and trendy accessories to everyday essentials, the collection includes first-release new products as well as Harbour City-exclusive merchandise. The store will also be specially transformed into “Bonnie’s Room”, featuring adorable large-scale photo spots so fans can take close-up pictures with their favourite characters. In addition, Snapio exclusive themed photo booths will be available on site, allowing everyone to bring home their own Toy Story 5 memories.
Located at the Canton Road entrance of Gateway Arcade, AIA The Best Pals Spot features playful installations of Woody, Jessie, and Lilypad. Upon completing missions, participants can redeem rewards of up to HK$150. Participants can also borrow a designated mysterious prop on-site for a photo with the installation, and post it on their own social media using a designated hashtag to receive an exclusive Toy Story limited-edition gift.
Located in the Atrium, G/F, Ocean Terminal, this zone features a lineup of Disney and Pixar friends reimagined as cute, candy-shaped photo installations—brimming with playful charm and picture-perfect moments. At the event, visitors can take part in the interactive motion game challenge for a chance to win a limited-edition Standard Chartered Pixar 40th Anniversary 999.9 Golden Ticket!
Also located in the Atrium, G/F, Ocean Terminal, the Toy Story 5 vending machine offer a selection of special-edition mini digital cameras and portable chargers—highly collectible limited treasures that fans won’t want to miss. The area also features a Zoda “Toy Story” photo booth, providing two sticker modes: live-action photo capture and AI animation generation—including a Harbour City-exclusive photo frame.
A new wave of exciting Disney and Pixar themed activities and experience zones will soon be unveiled, featuring additional large-scale themed installations and interactive experiences at Harbour City across Ocean Terminal Deck and Gallery by the Harbour, to roll out from July onwards.
