Prada presents the new Prada Essence pop-up, a temporary destination exploring chromatic duality through a curated selection of ready-to-wear and accessories. Following its debut in Hangzhou and Osaka, the concept arrives at Harbour City. The space is centred on the contrast between black and white, brought together within a singular visual identity. Sleek silhouettes, iconic design signatures and sought-after materials reinterpret Prada styles that first gained recognition in the 1990s.

To celebrate the occasion, Hong Kong singer Ian Chan and actress Cecilia Choi appeared in full Prada looks, effortlessly reinterpreting the house’s iconic Nineties aesthetic.

The minimalist design language extends to the retail environment. Transparent plexiglass modules illuminated by lilac neon lighting form the flooring, creating a contemporary and immersive setting that echoes the collection’s visual identity.

The women’s collection highlights black Re-Nylon, a signature material deeply rooted in Prada’s identity. It is paired with poplin, denim, cashmere, fleece and leather to create versatile seasonal looks. Leather goods include mini bags, Re-Nylon designs and new arrivals, while loafers, slingbacks and boots reinterpret familiar Prada silhouettes. Animal-print details add further contrast to the monochrome palette.

For men, Re-Nylon appears across blouson jackets, refined outerwear and shirts. Bags explore a mix of materials, while accessories incorporate winter-inspired textures and construction techniques. Brushed leather loafers, lace-ups, ankle boots and Re-Nylon sneakers complete a versatile and boldly minimalist selection.
