When Chilean Fine wine meets Shanghainese cuisine: Escudo Rojo x Gold Garden

22 Aug, 2025

Since opening in 2021, refined Shanghai and Huaiyang cuisine restaurant “Gold Garden Shanghai Cuisine” has been dedicated to recapturing the elegant charm of Yangzhou’s historic “Ge Yuan”. Executive Chef Wang Dong curates classic Huaiyang and Shanghai dishes for an unforgettable culinary journey.

Gold Garden Shanghai presents a special pairing featuring Escudo Rojo, crafted with Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s signature expertise in Chile’s Maipo Valley. A marriage between French savoir-faire and Chilean terroir, this collaboration brings Bordeaux winemaking mastery to the mineral-rich soils of the Andes foothills. A winegrowing paradise for Cabernet Sauvignon and home to internationally acclaimed wines including Baronesa P., ranked #9 in the Top 100 Chilean wines.
