It’s that time of year when the humidity drops and the season changes – not just weather-wise, but fashion-wise too. Bring on the new inspiration for pieces you’ll want in your wardrobe for this season and beyond!

It’s the weather for leather

Nothing heralds in a new Autumn/Winter season more than leather! However, this is not just a trend. As we try and be more mindful of our consumption in this fast-fashion world, leather is an investment. New A/W collections bring options that will stand the test of time in your wardrobe. If leather’s what you are looking for, we’ve got you covered from top to toe. Let’s start from the top with the Novus Jacket from IRO. It’s sherpa panels and sleeves add texture to the smooth leather jacket that exudes a confident attitude and laidback modern style. Next up, trousers. Head straight to Isabel Marant for a selection of chic and effortless leather trousers in faux to buttery soft lambskin. Our personal pick is the flattering high waist, tapered ankle Badeloisa pants. Finally, go for bold with Versace.

From footwear to bags, you’ll find the right leather accessory to make a statement with this season. Reach for the chunky-soled Delphi Boot; full of confidence, it embodies the collection’s ethos – powerful and unafraid of self-expression. For bags, grab the Vitrus. Available in both medium and large and adorned with the iconic Barocco V hardware that represents courage, strength and character.

Inspired by nature

It feels very fitting to draw from the colours of nature during a change of season, and some designers did just that! Reminiscent of the leaves changing colour or a red sun in the sky, Maryling’s textured wool overcoat instantly adds a sense of warmth and vibrancy to any fall ensemble. Both Max & Co and Bora Asku opted for shades of blue. Max & Co took a deep dive with coats, skirts and trousers in various deep-sea shades, while Bora Asku looked up for inspiration with bright sky blue. Paule Ka kept her collection grounded by choosing to keep her palette more neutral and earth-toned with more greens and browns. Which A/W colour palette will you be wearing?

Read the Fine Print

Designers have spoken and said that prints are back this Autumn/Winter! French brand ba&sh shows off their art and interior design influences to bring you modern floral dresses in rich and deep colours that prove floral dresses are not just for summer. Fellow French designer Isabel Marant shows the diversity for her A/W collection with pieces in bold covetable prints that wow. The silk maxi Zakae dress makes maximum impact with its all-over print, while the long and airy pleated Alena skirt grabs your attention with its volume, asymmetric hem, and zebra print. Why not elevate your wardrobe with some prints this season.
