The new Eau de Parfum  from the “Graines Vagabondes” collection:

A solar perfume, as vibrant as the Greek sky,

leaving on the skin a warm trail,

like a memory of a dive in the Ionian Sea.

Inspiration

Dear Philippe,

I keep repeating the name of a Greek island these days, one that has completely captivated me. Corfu, Corfu, Corfu. I hear ‘corps’ and ‘fou’, and even ‘coeur’ and ‘fond’. True, one must speak French to understand the homonyms, but we are Memo Paris, after all! Say its name with me, and feel its magic at work. I can already see a skin dancing in the sun, dipping into the depths of turquoise ink; I see floral, fruity notes and a sunlit musk flourishing in the air. I would love for you to come as close as you can to the coast of this Ionian island. It is surprising, you will see. It has Italian, Byzantinian, Roman, British and French influences, and I am sure that it has kept in its memory all these languages and their accents. For this Island I imagine a joyous encounter of ingredients; vowels of flowers and fruits, consonants of woods and musks. A whole olfactory alphabet for Corfu, this Islands made up of two syllables.

Yours,

Clara

Sunny Musk

The sea has fashioned a legend that electrifies the enamoured heart, announcing a smile of bergamot, tangerine, grapefruit, rose oil and patchouli.

Whoever swims through a rocky passage, made of golden reliefs like amber, in turquoise water as soft as iris, will know a lasting love. The Canal d’Amour, such is its name, patient. He knows that the Greek island has many other secrets to share, woven of jasmine, ambrette seeds, sandalwood, tonka bean; fruits of so many influences. Here stands the blackcurrant absolute, where raspberry and peach are combined. Landscapes of wild, mountainous and wooded beauty lead to visions of Italian, French and British architecture, Byzantine churches and Roman remains. Epochs, cultures, cedar wood, musk and lily-of-the-valley, languages, traditions, rhubarb and geraniums, can all be found in Corfu. The island of all encounters.

Corfu Book

“The odour of rhubarb will come first, and when I walk with eyes closed along your scrubland trails, I know I’ll love your copses of cypress trees. Perhaps I’ll get lost in your sprawling olive groves. Deep in the woods, I’ll savour the memory of an animal carrying musk and harmony.”

To continue the journey, MEMO has invited two artists to further unfold the imagination of CORFU in an illustrated book, including Albane Gellé as the author and Valérie Linder as the illustrator.

The Falcon and Packaging

The falcon presents the sensual curves of CORFU majestic cliffs, and the white and gold colours express the freshness of the signature.

Corfu opens a new chapter for Memo Paris. The brand is thus taking a new step in its commitment to the environment, and the choice of new packaging, made up of 80% recycled paper, printed with safe UV ink wrapped with organic cellophane and 100% recyclable, further confirms its implication.

The choice of design enrobing the Memo Paris box is inspired by the Tendre map, a symbolic representation of an imaginary and personal country, which shows the different stages of life. Here, geography is linked to the different fragrances in the Memo world, in both the emotional and sensitive destinations.
