Popular Japanese hot pot brand Nabe Urawa makes its grand debut at Harbour City
Ultimate Japanese-style Space and “One Person, One Pot” Concept Redefine the Premium Hot Pot Experience

24 Jun, 2026

With “open and airy Japanese-style design” as its core theme, the new branch not only offers a more elegant and comfortable dining environment but also introduces a “one person, one pot” setup for 80% of its seating for the first time, while fully upgrading its entry-level set meals to include a Prime-grade meat menu. To celebrate the grand opening, the brand has made a rare acquisition of the ultra-rare “A5 Superior Marbled Kobe Wine Wagyu,” available to diners at a limited-time all-you-can-eat promotional price of HK$888.

Space Aesthetics: Crafting a Modern Japanese-Inspired Serene Haven

At the Harbour City store, “refined Japanese aesthetics” serve as the core design philosophy. Through meticulous spatial planning and layered ambient lighting, the seamless fusion of light, shadow, and wooden textures creates an atmosphere of warm, inviting sophistication. The iconic “Chef Daruma” mascot is artfully integrated into this wood-toned aesthetic, adding a touch of contemporary vibrancy to the warm ambiance. This creates an ideal setting for business discussions, intimate gatherings with friends and family, or enjoying a moment of solitary, stress-free dining.

Dining Innovation: Menu Upgrades and the “6+1” Soup Base Aesthetic

To pursue the ultimate dining enjoyment, the Nabe Urawa Harbour City store has undergone a comprehensive reorganization and upgrade of its existing menu:

  • Comprehensive Meat Upgrade: All entry-level set meals now feature Prime-grade meat, providing a richer palate experience at a competitive price point.
  • “One Person, One Pot” Concept: Up to 80% of seats are equipped with independent hot pot stoves, allowing customers to freely control their soup base and the rhythm of their shabu-shabu, enhancing dining hygiene and autonomy.
  • Seasonal Soup Bases: To maintain culinary freshness and innovation, beyond our six signature classic soup bases, the brand has introduced the “6+1” soup base aesthetic—adding one seasonal, limited-time surprise flavor each quarter, ensuring that every visit offers a fresh and exciting gastronomic discovery.

Opening Exclusive: Auction-Grade “A5 Superior Marbled Kobe Wine Wagyu”

To celebrate the new store opening, Nabe Urawa showcases its formidable procurement capabilities. The group’s purchasing team successfully bid at the “World Japanese Wagyu Auction” in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan last April, for the “A5 Superior Marbled Kobe Red Wine Wagyu,” of which only about 50 head are produced annually across Japan. This breed is raised on red wine lees, rich in polyphenols, with beef melting point below 20°C, creating a dreamy “melt-in-your-mouth” texture. Starting from the opening day, customers can personally taste this premium culinary art—shipped directly from the Himeji auction house to the dining table—via an all-you-can-eat set at a limited-time promotional price of HK$888 (original price HK$1,088/person).

An All-Encompassing Culinary Journey: Abundant Buffet Selection and the “Global Gastronomic Feast”

Beyond the innovations in premium meats and soup bases, the Harbour City store continues to offer our signature, extensive self-service buffet bar. With an uninterrupted supply of hot pot ingredients, hot dishes, appetizers, desserts, and beverages, we create a comprehensive and immersive dining ritual for every guest.

Furthermore, Nabe Urawa is currently hosting the “Global Culinary Delights ” across all locations (from now until August 4, 2026). We have integrated unique international food items into our menu. Highlights include the much-talked-about “Mexican-Style Spicy & Sour Tomato Soup” (infused with Tabasco sauce), English-style “Bacon-Wrapped Scallop Skewers,” and American “Buffalo Chicken.” By transforming our restaurants into a global culinary arena, we invite our guests to embark on a flavorful journey across five continents while enjoying their hot pot experience.
