AIGLE x SMILEY First Creative Collaboration – Celebrating Milestone Anniversaries & Spreading Optimism Together

French outdoor lifestyle brand AIGLE has been widely admired by discerning customers with a taste for the minimalist way of life. SMILEY’s original message since 1972 “Take the time to smile!” inspired AIGLE to design a fun and trendy collection of limited-edition rubber boots, apparel and accessories, paying tribute to SMILEY’s dedication in spreading positivity continuously for half a century.

To celebrate SMILEY’s 50th anniversary, AIGLE playfully merges the iconic elements of both brands in the designing of the Limited-edition AIGLE x SMILEY rubber boots: the limited-edition comes in kids and women boots, which are specially covered in SMILEY 50th birthday exclusive print designed by the famous French street graffiti artist Mr. A (André Saraiva).

The bright yellow and dark grey color boots irresistibly adores kids; and a subtle dark grey version for women, which is suitable both for leisure and work. The women rubber boots are crafted by expert hands in France in a process that requires an average of 60 manufacturing steps. Stylish, light, durable and comfortable, the two brands’ key elements are fused with French aesthetics in this collaboration, while exciting color combinations symbolize the sheer joy and positive outlook shared by AIGLE and SMILEY.

The apparel and accessories in this AIGLE x SMILEY Collaboration are mostly unisex designs, suitable for both men and women. Majority of the items are made with sustainable material, amplifying the brand’s eco-conscious concept. Highlighted products include a sleek and simple AIGLE x SMILEY jacket in beige made with organic cotton, its loose-fitting silhouette makes the wearer – regardless of gender – effortlessly chic; a yellow and beige hoodie featuring AIGLE x SMILEY print is surely alluring to street fashion lovers, but the comfortable design made in breathable material will meet the eye of families and couples as well.

As AIGLE is also celebrating grand opening of the 25th anniversary in Hong Kong, city-special collaboration items are launched to commemorate the milestones of both brands in celebrating with the local fans. Hong Kong special-edition items include: AIGLE x SMILEY striped mixed cotton T-shirt with embroidery on the chest, also a collection logo at the back. Embedded with summer friendly functions like UV Control and anti-bacterial, it is a closet staple for the season.

And AIGLE x SMILEY packable shopping bag made with recycled polyester with the collaboration logo and striped design will be available.
