BALMAIN Unveils its Stunning New Look at Harbour City

07 Sep, 2025

BALMAIN is pleased to announce the grand opening of its Hong Kong Harbour City boutique. Designed under the creative direction of Olivier Rousteing, the space embodies the maison’s distinctive vision of pure French elegance and modern luxury.

Founded in Paris in 1945, the House of BALMAIN continues to honor its heritage while channeling the unique spirit of contemporary Paris into boutiques worldwide. Making its debut at Harbour City, the new Hong Kong boutique distills the essence of French aesthetics into an immersive shopping environment that combines modern minimalism with a luminous, open interior.

The boutique’s façade features expansive glass curtain walls framed by sleek black-and-white surfaces. High-transparency glass blurs the boundary between interior and exterior, enhancing a sense of depth and lightness. Golden framing adds refined sophistication, while the maison’s gleaming signage shimmers against the façade, capturing the play of light. Inside, the design is conceived as a sensorial journey: airy display platforms paired with Pierre Paulin’s iconic seating create a dialogue between ease and order, shaping a refined and tranquil shopping environment. Modern codes seamlessly extend the maison’s legacy, with contemporary French sophistication articulated in every detail.

The new boutique presents BALMAIN’s signature menswear, womenswear, and accessories collections, underscoring the maison’s renowned mastery of tailoring, sculptural silhouettes, and ornamental detailing, as well as its forward-looking design vision. At the same time, it reaffirms the enduring tradition of haute craftsmanship, reinterpreted to continually inspire contemporary aesthetic sensibilities.

The BALMAIN Harbour City boutique encapsulates the evolution of the maison’s design language. Modern French aesthetics harmonize with an elegant way of life. Guests are invited to discover this refined new expression of Parisian sophistication at Harbour City, Hong Kong.
