COS LAUNCHES CAPSULE COLLECTION FEATURING THE WORK OF ARTIST SUKI SEOKYEONG KANG

COS is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Korean visual artist Suki Seokyeong Kang – a limited edition knitwear collection inspired by Kang’s artwork. Reimagining the intricate graphics traditionally seen on court dance mats, Kang’s artwork is translated into contemporary knitwear and winter accessories using a knit jacquard technique.

Kang’s body of work is a rich tapestry that captures the cultural traditions of South Korea and explores contemporary socio-cultural themes. Her artistic repertoire spans various mediums, including painting, sculpture, installation, video, and performance. In her own words, “It was a pleasure to be a part of the collection and experience a new canvas with different textures. I hope the collaboration will make art more accessible and enjoyable for many people.” The COS x Suki Seokyeong kang capsule collection has now launched online and in select COS stores.
