Louis Vuitton has appointed Dame Pat McGrath, DBE, one of the world’s most influential makeup artists, as Creative Director of La Beauté Cosmetics. Together, they have crafted the new La Beauté Louis Vuitton makeup collection, embarking on a fresh creative journey. The collection features lipsticks, balms, and eyeshadows, Vuitton, each with a McGrath twist and reflecting Louis Vuitton’s heritage in trunk making, artisanal craftsmanship, and cultural vision.
LV ROUGE
At the heart of La Beaute Louis Vuitton lies 55 shades of lipstick expression – a subtle and ingenious nod to the Roman numerals for LV – that embody the Maison’s dedication to craft, symbolism, and timeless codes. Each shade is uniquely created and selected by Pat McGrath to perfectly complement all skin tones.
Beneath intense pigmentation and exquisite sensoriality lies an exceptional formulation crafted with upcycled waxes from Rose, Jasmine and Mimosa flowers – flowers that are emblematic of the Louis Vuitton house – and enriched with shea butter and a hyaluronic acid, that contribute to an 85% skincare base* that bestows lips with long-lasting comfort**, 12-hour longwear vivid color** for the matte finish and 24h hydration** for the satin finish. An invitation to celebrate individuality with endless possibilities, each hue uniquely enhances every skin tone.

LV BAUME
The Baume collection offers 10 luminous, sheer shades designed to deeply nourish and protect the lips while enhancing their natural redness. With a velvety, lightweight texture that can be layered for a natural glow, these balms create a soft-focus, dewy finish suitable for every mood and occasion. Enriched with shea butter and hyaluronic acid, the balms provide 48 hours of hydration*, 24 hours of comfort and nourishment**, and help smooth fine lines. LV OMBRES
Each palette is composed of four eyeshadows that comprise three wearable, everyday shades, with one unexpected twist: a standout hue that shifts the mood, adds dimension, or ignites a spark of luxurious glamour. The formula incorporates LV Pigment Originals for pure, vivid color; Light-Up technology to reflect light for maximized shine; plant-derived squalane for smooth application and comfort; and camelina flower oil extract to soften texture—showcasing Louis Vuitton’s innovative approach to beauty.
A Scented Signature: Where Perfume Meets Pigment
In what was a Maison Louis Vuitton cross-métier collaboration between Pat McGrath and Louis Vuitton Master Perfumer, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, the lipsticks have been infused with an olfactory signature completely unique to the collection. Inspired by ingredients harnessed by Belletrud from the Louis Vuitton fragrance ateliers, Les Fontaines Parfumees, in the heart of Grasse, the lipsticks carry a bespoke blend of mimosa, jasmine and rose, while the lip balms emit a delectable scent of mint and raspberry.
The Art of the Companion
Complementing the spirit of elegance in motion, a dedicated line of small leather goods has also been designed to accompany La Beaute Louis Vuitton. Featuring the iconic Monogram canvas to house make-up brush, to encase blotting papers and to hold lipsticks in miniature vanities, the collection reaffirms Louis Vuitton’s timeless codes while embracing the intimate ritual of beauty.
To mark the launch, limited edition Lipstick Pouches and Nice Beauty Cases will be released in three signature shades that mirror the collection’s heroes – Monogram Rouge, Rouge Louis and Tender Bliss – transforming objects of function into lasting pieces of the Maison’s style, history, and savoir-faire.
