Marco Polo Hotels Hong Kong Presents Festive Feasts to Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit

The Year of the Rabbit is approaching, and guests can ring in the New Year at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel and SAVVY by enjoying sumptuous festive feasts with family and friends.

 

Cafe Marco

Every evening throughout the month of January, Cafe Marco will feature a wide array of abalone delicacies. Dinner buffet guests can receive a serving of Chilled Abalone with Salmon Roe with Sake or Golden Oyster in Syrup (during 22-24 January) to celebrate a prosperous year ahead. They will present a myriad of traditional Lunar New Year delights, including traditional Yusheng with Salmon and Braised Dried Oysters with Black Sea Moss. Guests will also be tempted by classic Chinese delicacies, such as Steamed Whole Scallops with Vermicelli and Garlic, Steamed Whole Sea Bass in Ancient Style and Stewed Fish Maws and Abalones with American Ginseng.

Three on Canton

To usher in the Chinese New Year in style, Three on Canton will present an auspicious feast to patrons during its lunch and dinner buffets on 22-25 January. Festive delights, such as Sashimi Salmon Toss Salad (Lo Hei), Braised Pig’s Tongues with Diced Oyster and Lettuce and Braised Sliced Whelks and Mushrooms on Shanghai Pak Choi, will be on offer. The restaurant will also prepare a tantalising selection of traditional Lunar New Year treats, including Pan Fried Turnip Cakes, Deep Fried Shrimp Balls, Deep Fried Gluten Balls, Deep Fried Mini Sesame Balls and Crispy Dumplings with Peanut and Shredded Coconut, to satisfy guests’ festive cravings.

SAVVY

Guests can start the Year of the Rabbit on a bright note at SAVVY with its auspicious gourmet dishes. The contemporary restaurant will serve a bountiful Salmon Yusheng (Lo Hei) during its lunch buffet on 17-29 January. Three festive puddings, namely the Chinese Turnip Cakes, New Year Puddings and Water Chestnut Cakes, will also be served during brunch on 22-24 January. Guests can also celebrate the festive occasion and usher in a healthy and prosperous year ahead with family and friends by enjoying the traditional delight of Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, which features sumptuous Chinese ingredients such as Six Head Abalones, Fish Maws, Sea Cucumbers, Dried Oysters, Dried Scallops and more.
