Finnish design house Marimekko and Chinese fashion designer brand ANGEL CHEN present a capsule collection launching on September 26, 2022 in China. The Marimekko x Angel Chen collection celebrates the purest, most distilled parts of both brands and combines some of Chen’s signature design elements – the use of vivid primary colors and sequins with Marimekko’s most iconic print design Unikko from 1964. The capsule includes two dresses, two tops and a bag and will be available in selected Marimekko stores and online on marimekko.com. In addition, the capsule collection will be available globally online at marimekko.com as well as in selected stores in the Asia-Pacific region from October 10, 2022 onwards.

About Angel Chen
Angel Chen is a vanguard Chinese designer and Founder of namesake label ANGEL CHEN. A graduate from Central Saint Martins, Chen moved from her hometown Shenzhen to study in London at the age of 17. During her placement year, she interned for globally renowned fashion brands such as Alexander Wang, Marchesa, and Vera Wang in New York. Following her critically acclaimed graduate collection in 2014, Chen was chosen by i-D magazine as one five designers to watch, followed by the launch of her eponymous label in the following year.
