Miu Miu introduces “Vinyl Club”, a series of pop-up spaces centered around and inspired by music, evoking the atmosphere of a music collector’s vinyl library, seen through Miu Miu’s contemporary eye. The space is conceived as an informal gathering place, a sophisticated, curated environment where the Miu Miu community is invited to meet and share audio by their chosen artists, while shopping from a selection of pieces from the brand’s Fall/Winter collection. Ensuring a visual identity as distinct as the clothes themselves, a vinyl album display arranged in a graphic, square grid, echoing the classic organization of vintage music collections lines the walls.
The spirit of irreverence and individuality that characterizes both the Miu Miu universe and that of the wardrobe of modern music is seen throughout. Here, proportions, layering and pattern converge in unexpected combinations, with garments crafted from Miu Miu’s iconic fabrics, materials and silhouettes defined by a distinctive, expressive approach to dressing that has become a signature of the brand. The wardrobe is casual yet considered, juxtaposing masculine and feminine, formal and informal, with each look shaped around the character of whose wearing it. The new Retour bag in nappa leather and suede is neat and boxy, softened by gently rounded edge, while the New Balance x Miu Miu ballet flats, as soft as slippers, move effortlessly between home and outside world.
At the heart of each store is a listening station equipped with a turntable, vinyl records in custom-designed sleeves, and Marshall x Miu Miu headphones and speaker, portraying the collaboration with the historically revered brand.
