Maison Margiela launches a new shape of the Glam Slam bag, the Hobo

Debuted during the Spring-Summer 2018 défilé, the Glam Slam is the genderless signature bag of Maison Margiela, continuously interpreted by the house in a variety of styles. With its rounded curves and soft cloud-like shape, the quilted bag evokes universal associations of comfort, reflecting the notions of unconscious glamour and dressing in haste key to the Maison. Inspired by images of travellers in transit, its design is founded in travelling rituals shared across cultures.

Maison Margiela also presents an exclusive travel gift box that includes the comfortable Napa neck pillow, slipper and eye mask. This is a playful reminder of the accessories originally presented during the spring-summer 2018 show, when the Glam Slam was first introduced.

The Hobo is available in small and medium sizes, and four colors including greige, white, black and Graphite. The Glam Slam Hobo is versatile and elegant. With its adjustable leather-covered strap the small hobo can be worn over the shoulder or cross-body. The medium size is offered with a stainless steel chain.
