MALAY Hainan Chicken Claypot Rice: A New Signature Classic
The centrepiece of the new menu is the MALAY Hainan Chicken Claypot Rice—a dish that has quickly become a customer favourite since its initial introduction. This signature creation is a harmonious blend of two iconic culinary traditions: the robust, aromatic claypot rice of Malaysian Chinatown and the delicate, silky Hainanese chicken rice. The dish features fragrant chicken oil rice layered with dried botan shrimp, taro, and Chinese sausage, all steamed together with lemongrass, pandan, galangal, ginger, and garlic. Boneless Hainanese chicken and a drizzle of scallion oil complete the ensemble, while the golden, crispy rice crust at the edge of the claypot offers a satisfying textural contrast.
