WEST COAST PREP
West Coast Prep, is the theme of the Spring 2022 TOMMY HILFIGER Menswear and Womenswear collections, and the Spring 2022 Tommy Kids collection. It is not only an optimistic celebration of the great outdoors and prep through a west coast lens, but also embraces freedom and exploration in west coast living and heads back into nature.
MENWEAR COLLECTION
West Coast Prep, the Spring 2022 TOMMY HILFIGER Menswear collection, celebrating preppy classics through the brand’s codes of regatta, varsity and surf. To complement this sense of exploration, our prints and patterns take a hand-crafted approach, and we inject a hint of tropical flavor through print and pattern, and the use of the new floral-camo. Sustainability and innovation drive our versatile approach to dressing. Combining both natural and sustainable tech, such as natural fibers such as linen, bamboo and hemp, and 37.5 – a temperature-regulating technology built with volcanic ash. Natural linens and cottons are used in contrast with hyper-modern Gore-Tex and our TH Protect program. A highly elevated take on the 360-lifestyle as we expand our design horizons from ‘work from home’ to ‘work from anywhere.’
WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION
West Coast Prep, the Spring 2022 TOMMY HILFIGER womenswear collection, which takes shape in a more casual, preppy aesthetic, brought to life through relaxed silhouettes, playful proportions and laid-back styling. ‘Pineapple island’ and all-over prints in hand-drawn tonal applications evoke tropical escapes and a call to city summer explorations. Sustainable innovations come to life through elevated conscious essentials, mono-material designs, natural dye processes and re-energized summer fabrics in organic cottons and recycled PES. Meanwhile, delicate strap & tie detailing, lightweight linens and textured plaid patterns add a feminine dimension to a collection that embraces American varsity clashed with our surf and regatta heritage for a season of comfortable and graceful dressing.
KIDS COLLECTION
West Coast Prep, the Spring 2022 Tommy Kids collection explores surf, surplus and tropical takes on varsity. Building on the brand’s preppy heritage, the collection puts new spins on the theme through collegiate graphics, comfy sweat co-ords, a new hero windbreaker and more. Next to tropical florals in camp shirts, the palette is rooted in neutral tones – achieved by more sustainable earth dyes. Hemp denim is introduced as our second staple in sustainability – after 100% recycled cotton denim. Shades like Regatta Blue and Blue Crush amplify the surf inspired pieces, while overshirts and cargo shorts make a case for prep-meets-surplus. A feel-good offering of tie-dye sweats, tees and dresses rounds out the collection with smiley-face artwork and “You are Amazing!” slogans.
