The art of travel has been an essential inspiration to many designers. As autumn breeze is coming, major brands express the importance of dreams and escape with ingenious handbag designs, to evoke the feeling of lightness and an adventurous spirit along our journeys.

This season, BALLY is exploring its softer side with Kyrah, a multi-functional bag which encapsulates the ease of the relaxed lifestyle with a supple, butter soft leather construction. For Louis Vuitton, the serenity and magic of travel are represented by the most iconic designs such as the emblematic Steamer and the latest On The Go shopper in its new campaign captured in some Vietnam’s momst striking locations. The new Prada Panier bag features an innovative dual construction of iconic Saffiano leather exterior, with sides made of soft calf leather in a contrasting colour, giving incredible lightness.

A vintage theme runs throughout the season, too. The new Gucci bag features a silk scarf wrapped around the shoulder strap and employs a gold GG buckle closure based on a piece of hardware discovered on a 70s bag in the House archive. The Valentino Garavani VSLING is also inspired from the elegant geometries of the 70s that have made great the Maison. The iconic VLOGO brings together minimal essentialism and strong personality. Chloé welcomes the Aby Lock, a new statement bag that builds upon the heritage of the padlock signature that dates back to the Paddington from 2006. With delicate and simple lines, they allow women to be effortlessly chic anytime, anywhere.

The spotlight of the season goes to a special collaboration for modern men: FENDI partners with Japanese luggage experts PORTER to reinterpret the Maison’s iconic Peekaboo and Baguette with the use of PORTER’s signature bonded nylon. These new creations will become the best companion of the functional traveler who wants to move with lightness, functionality and, above all, coolness.
