French GourMay presents: Le Chic French Hour @Harbour City

For the first time, Harbour City partners with the French GourMay Food & Wine Festival to present “Le Chic French Hour @ Harbour City” – a five-week celebration of French art de vivre taking place from 16 May to 21 June 2026. Co-presented with Clan & Co, Maison Perrier, and DALLOYAU, the programme brings together a series of French-inspired tasting experiences, including three exclusive mixology workshops, a pop-up bar with a signature drink menu, a grand finale themed party, and time-limited dining offers at selected F&B outlets.

Throughout the event period, the Level 4 Outdoor Terrace at Ocean Centre will be transformed into an immersive “French Garden”, curated by local creative mixology studio Clan & Co and inspired by French aesthetics. Blending French lifestyle and gastronomy, this sun-drenched garden party atmosphere invites guests to unwind by the harbour and savour effortless French elegance – all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Victoria Harbour.

Event Highlight 1: A Romantic French Garden for Photography

Throughout Le Chic French Hour @ Harbour City, the Level 4 Outdoor Terrace of Ocean Centre is transformed into a romantic French Garden, supported and inspired by the heritage and savoir‑faire of Maison Perrier. Anchored by the signature Maison Perrier Floral Arch and curated photo installations, the space offers a picturesque setting from day to dusk. As the sun sets, the sweeping Victoria Harbour skyline becomes a breathtaking backdrop where sea and sky converge, inviting guests to capture moments of French‑inspired elegance and timeless charm. On designated dates during the Clan & Co × Maison Perrier Pop‑Up Bar, guests can also enjoy stylish drink‑in‑hand photo moments, adding a chic touch to their pictures against the enchanting garden and iconic harbour views.

Event Highlight 2: Weekend Exclusive Workshops: Mixology & Chocolate Aesthetics

In partnership with Clan & Co, three immersive 45‑minute workshops led by professional mixologists invite guests to explore the art of alcohol-free or flavour-forward cocktail mixology through taste, technique and sensory discovery. Designed to elevate both taste and presentation, each session blends mixology knowledge with hands‑on creation and is suitable for both enthusiasts and beginners (must be aged 18 or above). All workshop participants will receive one complimentary bottle from all‑new Maison Perrier Collection, adding a crisp, refreshing highlight to this effervescent celebration.

Three Themed Workshops:

1. Maison Perrier “Sober Chic” Zero-Proof Mixology Session

A chic introduction to alcohol‑free mixology, this session invites guests to learn the “Pro-tricks” behind crafting three sophisticated signature Maison Perrier mocktails using premium ingredients, while discovering garnishing tips to elevate both visual appeal and tasting experience. Designed for the modern palate and home entertaining, the experience blends refreshing flavours with stylish presentation, perfect for effortless hosting and elevated everyday moments.

2. Clan & Co’s The Herbal Tea Alchemy Workshop

An immersive “East‑meets‑West” mixology experience, this workshop invites guests to craft two bespoke, tea‑inspired cocktails using Magnolia Lab botanical liqueurs, highlighting refined herbal profiles with contemporary flair. Participants will also learn about flavours such as roselle and dried tangerine peel, perfect for creating personalised base spirits and experimenting with herbal mixology at home.

3. DALLOYAU Chocolate & Spirits Pairing

Discover the allure of a French-Cantonese crossover as guests indulge in a curated pairing of three handcrafted DALLOYAU chocolates with cognac, botanical liqueurs and classic cocktails. This guided tasting explores the concept of the “Third Flavour”, and reveals the science of how varying cocoa percentages interact with different spirits to unlock unexpected layers of aroma, balance and depth, creating an entirely new and exquisite taste sensation.

Refreshing and vibrant, the drinks embody the event’s relaxed French-meets-East spirit.

During selected sessions, guests will also have the chance to meet Dennis Mak, proprietor of Clan & Co and co‑founder of Magnolia Lab, who will appear at the bar to serve his limited‑edition summer creations.
